The time has come to reveal what the upcoming Feria Hábitat Valencia 2010, which takes place from 28th September to 2nd October, is all about. This year, office equipment and technological solutions for the homes of the future have also come on board the show in addition to the most extensive range of products for Made in Spain interiors ever, which encompasses furniture, lighting, upholstery, bedrooms, home textiles and outdoor furniture etc.

You will find the most comprehensive and idiosyncratic showcase on the international circuit of exhibitions for the world of interiors at Feria Valencia.

A step change in the style of the spaces will be the defining feature of Feria Hábitat Valencia. A ground-breaking interpretation of the space, conceived by architect Héctor Ruiz, will turn Feria Valencia into a cityscape where the stands become shop windows. Companies for which design is the main factor that creates their point of difference, be it in the field of the classic or the avant garde, will have their own dedicated space in The Gallery, the display area reserved for NEW PRODUCTS from Spanish and international companies.

Another novelty is that Patricia Urquiola is playing an active role in Feria Hábitat Valencia for the first time. Considered to be one of the world’s most influential designers, Urquiola is heading the creation of a series of exhibits in which the leading Spanish designers will give expression to their vision for interiors.

Experimentation will also be evident in the R, D & I Kitchen Workshops. A joint initiative with AIDIMA, the Workshops will present advanced prototypes with the user as part of the design process.

Look out too for the nude Show, which in its ninth year now is firmly established as Spain’s leading platform for promoting young designers specialising in the field of interiors. These young people will be showing their creations to manufacturers and retailers.
